Kalamalka Rotary Socials
Having fun is part of what makes Kalamalka Rotary tick! Getting to know each other better builds fellowships and friendships and makes providing service to others more fun too!
Throughout the year, Kal’s Social Committee arranges ski days, golf days, group hikes, major sporting event get-togethers and monthly T.E.A.M. (Thursday Evening Alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) Minglers) meetings for an after work get-together at a local restaurant or pub. Spouses, colleagues and guests are warmly welcomed at these social events. After all, the more the merrier!
We also get to know our members and their spouses if we register for “Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner (GWCFD).” Held four times each year, these dinners are powerful ways to connect and make friends with your fellow Rotarians, especially for new members. You host one of the dinners and attend as a guest for the remaining three dinners. You don’t know who’s coming or where you’re going – hence the “Guess Who?” The program is flexible so if you can’t be available for some of the pre-identified dates, we’ll work around your availability. Any way you want to plan your involvement, it’s a great program to be a part of!
Kal Rotary also organizes a Christmas lunch where Rotarian spouses and family members are invited to share in the social time together. This social lunch is a wonderful way to kick off the holidays!
