In October 2020, Kal Rotarians, friends and family are travelling to the village of April, Nepal to help build two houses for this community that was devastated by the 2015 earthquake. To find out more about this trip and how you can help click here…

Frances G. Cosco Foundation | 2019 | 2019 -provision of a latrine to serve an 800 student school in Bezawit, Ethiopia
2020 – Furnish classrooms in a school at the Tis Abay primary school in Amhara region of Ethiopia. We are a part of a $300,000 project which is doubling the size of the school, building latrines etc. So basically, a new school in the area for about 1,200 children allowing for education from grade 1-8 instead of only 1-4. | Supporting Education

Clean Water for Haiti | 2018 – 2019 | 2018 – 100 bio sand filters for rural families
2019 – 50 more bio sand filters and funds to replace an old truck that delivers the filters to rural communities
2020 – funding for 4 motorcycles which will allow the technicians to reach the rural areas they service and do regular maintenance checks.

Olive Branch for Children Organization | 2020 | This money will seed a gas stove project to replace in-home wood burning stoves with gas top stoves, freeing up people (almost exclusively girls) from spending hours a day foraging for firewood. This will allow the organization to set up a distribution center in Mbeya, S.E. Tanzania and create a self- sufficient small business in the area. | Growing Local economies
